Our day begins with a visit to Nasir Al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque), followed by Persepolis. Founded by Darius I in 518 B.C. as the capital of the Achaemenid Empire, Persepolis is perched on a vast half-natural, half-artificial terrace. Its monumental ruins reflect extraordinary craftsmanship, making it a truly unique archaeological site.
